Planning a Wedding, Elopement, or Intimate Celebration? Here’s How a Private Chef Can Make It Unforgettable
Weddings come in all shapes and sizes, from mountaintop elopements to backyard celebrations, intimate dinners to full weekend retreats. No matter how you gather, the food should feel personal, thoughtful, and worthy of the moment.
As a private chef in Denver, I work with couples who want more than a generic menu or a catering line. They want a meal that reflects their story, their style, and their values and they want it to feel effortless.
Here’s how I help make your celebration unforgettable.
A Menu That Reflects You
I start by getting to know you. Maybe you had your first date over tacos. Maybe you both love spending weekends at the farmer’s market. Or maybe you want a modern spin on a classic Jewish celebration. Wherever we begin, the goal is to craft a menu that feels like you.
I’ll propose ideas based on your preferences, your dietary needs, and the season, always highlighting local Colorado ingredients and refined techniques. You’ll be as hands-on or hands-off as you want. Some couples come in with a strong vision, others want to be surprised. I’m here for both.
Elevated, Seasonal, Thoughtful
Whether it’s passed appetizers or a multi-course plated dinner, every dish is designed with intention. I balance flavor, texture, and temperature in every bite, so you’re not just getting a “meal,” but an experience.
Here’s an example of a recent elopement dinner I created for a couple in Buena Vista:
Passed Bites
Corn Madeleines with whipped honey butter and smoked Maldon salt
Nduja Anticucho in a steamed bun with salsa verde and pickled watermelon rind
Dinner
First Course: Heirloom Tomato + Peach Salad, burrata, fennel pollen, burnt lemon vinaigrette
Main Course: Crispy Duck Breast, corn miso custard, charred fig, red amaranth
Dessert: Olive Oil Pound Cake, summer berries, lemon balm
We set the table in an indoor outdoor space next to a river and served each course with wine pairings. There were just 12 guests, but it felt as significant as any grand reception.
Why Go Private?
When you hire a private chef for your wedding or elopement, you're not just getting food—you’re getting:
Customization: The menu is truly yours.
Flexibility: I adapt to your setting; Airbnbs, mountain cabins, backyards, art galleries.
Presence: I’m onsite to cook, plate, and serve, with an eye for detail and service.
Connection: Your guests get to experience something personal and unhurried.
Planning Something Special?
Whether you're planning a celebration here in Denver or escaping into the Rockies, I’d love to help you bring your vision to life. Reach out early, I typically book 1–3 months in advance for weddings and elopements, though shorter timelines are sometimes possible.
